Infrastructure you can build on.
We run managed servers in a large, internationally distributed cluster that we manage ourselves. You get infrastructure shaped around your applications, with GDPR-compliant operation and 24/7 support with short response times. We also help you develop your existing environment.
A team that takes responsibility for operation.
An illustration of how the systems work together.
We have been established in the market for 15 years. Our own cluster infrastructure lets us plan resources and operation together. We discuss which applications you want to move and which systems should remain on site. What matters is how the environment works as a whole in everyday use.
The internationally distributed setup provides flexibility for different operating requirements. Where your applications and data will run, and how GDPR-compliant processing is implemented, form part of the detailed plan. For an existing environment, we first examine its dependencies. From there, we develop a suitable target environment and a clear route to it.
Plan capacity around actual needs
We examine application usage and account for foreseeable changes. Managed servers in our own cluster are configured around these requirements. For existing environments, we also consider consolidation and virtualisation. We examine shared dependencies and plan what should happen if a central component fails.
The decision should reflect costs over the planned period of use. Alongside purchasing and licensing, we consider support, energy and future changes. This helps establish which option is cost-efficient and where additional capacity serves a specific operational purpose rather than simply looking good in a specification.
Make recovery part of the system
A successful backup does not establish how quickly an application can become usable again. Together, we define which data and services are needed first and what level of data loss would be acceptable. This shapes the backup design and the recovery requirements for the affected environment.
We configure backups and test the agreed recovery process. This also covers the credentials and dependencies a service needs to start. We document the results and required steps. Your team can then understand the prerequisites and limits of the tested procedure before a real failure occurs.
Manage the move and ongoing operation
We plan a migration around the services involved and their data flows. Before switching, we check the new environment, agree a suitable window and define when a rollback would be necessary. Afterwards, we test the functions the business needs together with the people responsible for them.
During operation, our 24/7 support combines short response times with clear responsibilities. Monitoring is designed to surface relevant faults early and notify the right person. Updates are scheduled into suitable maintenance windows. Documented processes establish how capacity, backups and the technical condition of the environment are checked.
Example
Consolidating a growing server environment
Several servers were purchased at different times for individual tasks. Some have spare capacity while others are reaching their limits. Maintenance and backup arrangements differ, and the total ongoing cost is difficult to allocate.
We assess usage and dependencies, design a suitable target environment and plan a phased migration. Services move following agreed functional tests. Backups and monitoring follow a shared operating process wherever their respective requirements are compatible.
Capacity and costs become clearer, and recurring maintenance can be organised more consistently. The business case is assessed against expected operating effort and the investment required. Recovery tests show which steps actually work when a fault occurs.
Before we begin.
Does our entire infrastructure need replacing?
No. We assess what can usefully remain in place and where specific limitations exist. A targeted adjustment may be enough. If a larger renewal looks sensible, we compare the effort with gradually developing the existing environment.
Can a migration happen without interruption?
That depends on the applications and their technical capabilities. We examine the process and identify required interruptions in advance. An agreed window, functional tests and a rollback path are part of the plan so the move can be carried out in a controlled way.
How are our managed servers supported?
We manage the cluster infrastructure ourselves and provide 24/7 support with short response times for your managed servers. Together, we define maintenance and change processes, as well as which application-level tasks remain with your team and which we take on.
What will your infrastructure need to support?
Tell us what is difficult to maintain today and what changes are coming. We consider the next step together with the operation that will follow.
