When you visit the website

Our web server processes your IP address and technical request data so your browser can receive the page. This includes the requested address, the time, and connection and device information sent by your browser.

We do not keep regular access logs. Technical errors may generate error logs containing details such as your IP address, the time and the requested address. These logs are deleted within seven days. They are used for troubleshooting and secure operation, based on our legitimate interest in providing a reliable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The hosting provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner provides the server infrastructure and therefore receives the technical data needed to deliver the website. Further information is available in Hetzner's privacy notice.

Cookies, services and language selection

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or marketing services. Fonts, images and scripts are loaded from our own web server. The language switch links to the respective German or English page; your choice is not saved in a cookie or in local browser storage.

When you contact us

If you contact us through our form, by email or by phone, we process your contact details and the information you provide to handle your enquiry. The form requires your name, email address and message. Providing your company name is optional. The selected language and the page from which you submit the form are also transmitted. We use email and telecommunications providers for communication.

The contact form is processed on our own server. Successfully accepted enquiries are stored in a protected delivery queue until they are handed to our email provider. Message content is deleted from the queue after that handover. If delivery fails, the enquiry is retained for retries for no more than seven days. Further retention of the email depends on handling your enquiry and any applicable legal obligations.

To protect against automated misuse, we limit requests using IP-related verification values processed temporarily in memory. Technical verification values used to prevent duplicate submissions are deleted within seven days. Message content is not written to technical application logs. The form does not use an external CAPTCHA service.

For contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, it is our legitimate interest in responding to them under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We retain this information for as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry. Where statutory retention duties apply, the relevant records are kept for the required period under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. You do not need to send us an enquiry to use this website.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it for the future.

Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then assess whether processing must stop or whether compelling legitimate grounds or legal claims justify continuing it.

You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement has occurred. In Baden-Württemberg, you can contact the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.

The legal provisions are set out in the General Data Protection Regulation, in particular Articles 15 to 21 and 77.
